TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions apply to all persons (“you”) that are attending the YSEALI Regional Workshop: “Enhancing ASEAN Human Capital in Health” in Hanoi, Vietnam from November 2021 to January 2021 (“Workshop”) organized by the Institute of Population, Health and Development with support of the U.S. Embassy Hanoi in Vietnam (“we” or “us”).
By completing the registration form for this workshop, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”). If you do not agree with (or cannot comply with) the Terms, then you may not join the Workshop or consume any content or material that is made available by the Workshop.
Please ensure you have read and understand the following:
- Itinerary Changes and Cancellations
Every reasonable effort will be made to operate Workshop as planned, but alterations may still occur after final itineraries are sent.
There may be reasons beyond our control that might create unsafe or undesirable travel conditions for the participants in which case we would need to cancel or change the Workshop. Such reasons could be, but are not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and strikes.
There may be reasons beyond your control that you might have to cancel your participation, which is unfortunate for both you, us, and other participants. Please check all of your study and/or work requirements and/or any other schedule during the Workshop dates and make sure that you are available before you accept the invitation from us.
You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right to change any and all aspects of the Workshop, including but not limited to, the Workshop name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.
- Use of Name and Likeness
We reserve the right to take photographs or videos during the operation of the Workshop and to use the photos, videos, or recordings for promotional use. By registering for the Workshop, the participant agrees to allow his/her likeness to be used by us and our authorized third parties without compensation to the participant. If the participant prefers that his/her likeness not be used, he/she must notify us in writing prior to the beginning of the Workshop. Your personal identity will not be publicly disclosed in any research findings without your express consent.
Copyright in all photographs, video, and related materials created by the participant will belong to the participant upon creation. The participant grants to us a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use any Workshop materials provided to us in any media for the following limited purposes: editorial use, promotion of this editorial use or promotion of our Workshop programs.
- Code of conduct
All participants joining in this Workshop must agree to abide by the following code of conduct: (a) the participants’ answer to registration form, projects, and other assessments will be their own work (except for assessments that explicitly permit collaboration); (b) the participants will not engage in any other activities that will dishonestly improve their results or dishonestly improve or hurt the results of others.
You acknowledge and agree that we reserve the right to remove you from the Workshop if we determine that your participation or behaviour creates a disruption or hinder the Workshop or the enjoyment of the Workshop content by other attendees.
- Limitations on Use
By registering for the Workshop, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer or share your access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by the Organiser. By registering for a paid Virtual Event, you agree not to share, sell or trade your access. If we determine that you have violated this policy, we may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future YSEALI events.
Participants may not record or broadcast audio or video of sessions at the Workshop. The Workshop content shall be recorded and will be accessible to Participants, but not for sharing without permission.
- Your rights
Correction and removal
If any of the information that we have about you is incorrect, or you wish to have information (including personal data) removed from our records, you may do so by contacting us at yseali@phad.org
Request erasure of your personal data
You may have the right to request that personal data held about you is deleted.
Changes to this Terms
Any changes we make to these Terms in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notification sent to you by email. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to this Terms.
- Certificate of participation
Participants of the Workshop will receive a certificate of participation if they attended all required sessions of the workshops.
